There is no form to fill in and no fields to tab through. Type into one box, or photograph the pad. Fragments, abbreviations, trade shorthand and prices scribbled in the margin are all normal input.

Tell us about your business once
Your name, trade, day rate, VAT status, logo and the payment terms you always use. Saved to your account, so every estimate after the first one starts already knowing them.

We write the estimate
The work is itemised and priced from the rates in your notes. Sections are grouped the way a customer reads them. Assumptions and exclusions are written in, because those are what stop a disagreement three weeks later.

Nothing is guessed, and nothing is padded
If a figure in your notes could be read two ways, that line is marked for you to confirm. If there is no rate to price a line from at all, the price is left blank rather than invented, and the estimate shows no total until you have filled it in.

Things worth knowing
The maths is not done by AI
The AI decides what the line items are and what they should cost. Every multiplication and total is then calculated in ordinary code, in whole pence. A language model that is nearly always right about arithmetic is not good enough for a document you send a customer.
It will not invent your credentials
It never writes that you are Gas Safe registered, insured or accredited unless you have told it so. Claims like that on an estimate are yours to make, not ours to assume.
Your notes are not used to train anything
Your notes and photos are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to write the estimate and are not used to train AI models. Theprivacy policy sets out exactly what is stored and for how long.
You are still the one sending it
This writes a draft, and a good one, but it is going out under your name to your customer. Read it before you send it. That is why anything uncertain is flagged rather than hidden.
